Hotel Alberi del Paradiso ****
Flanked by olive and orange groves, the Via dei Mulini clambers up following the stream that for centuries fed the water mills of Cefalù. Three of these mills are still to be found in the verdant garden of the hotel.
Westwards, the promontory of Santa Lucia mirrors itself in the clear waters of the gulf, made unique by the red rocks of quartz arenite which at sunset bring out an unbelievable display of colours. Eastwards the mighty Rock, symbol of the town, towers over the medieval town centre, which is embellished with Baroque churches and Renaissance palaces.
In the spring nature explodes: the intense and delightful fragrances of jasmine and pittosporum diffuse within the palm and carob tree garden. Towards the sea you can admire the wonderful view of the unique architecture of the 12th century Norman Cathedral.
The buildings – made adopting typical Sicilian materials and colours – recall the dominant style on the island. In all the bright and panoramic environments, you will find the refined and exclusive design signed by the architects of studio S&AM.
The original and unusual air conditioning system combines the latest technology with the old cooling techniques used by the Arabs in the Royal Palaces in Palermo, like the Zisa. Quality and comfort resort combined with the pleasure of Sicilian hospitality.
Our mission
Environmental protection, nature and landscape preservation revival and enhancement of old traditions and local cuisine. From 2006 to present the conscious use of resources has inspired and continues to inspire all our activities.
To restore the complex, we have used innovative environmentally conscious design techniques in harmony with our territory.
To minimize environmental impact we have used native plants when replanting the garden, effective insulation systems, highly efficient and energy saving systems combined with waste sorting and control systems of noise and gas emission into the atmosphere.
Concrete commitments, such as installing a PV system able to generate up to 40 Kw of electricity has also contributed to the protection of the environment.
Day after day, our passion has grown. That's why we always aim for new goals, to offer our guests a holiday dedicated to wellness of body and mind, in harmony with nature, culture and the tastes of Sicily.

Awards and certifications
Since 2006 all activities of Alberi del Paradiso have been controlled by ISO 9001 - UNI EN ISO 14001 certification which defines the standard Quality requirements for the management systems and implementing an environmental management system.
Since 2008, del Paradiso has been certified by Legambiente Tourism awarded to environmentally sustainable structures. In 2009/2010 it was one of three Italian hotels awarded the "climate-friendly hotel" prize.
Since 2009, Alberi del Paradiso has been certified the European Ecolabel.
